At first I really didn’t like it here at MVCS. But, I’d have to say it’s really grown on me. I’ve been taught by some amazing, gifted teachers. Without some of the teachers I’ve had over the years, I probably wouldn’t have done as well as I have, to be honest, I never thought I would miss this school, but when I left last year I really and truly did.

I have been at Mount Vernon Christian School for the about 8 years now. I do not regret it one bit. Over the past few years there have been quite a few changes, some good and some bad. When I came here in the fourth grade I always looked forward to being in high school here and playing ball for the mighty Saders! Last I left Mount Vernon to go to Woodland high for their athletics because Mount Vernon sports were not looking so good. I soon came back because the people there were not as kind, loving and caring as the ones I came to know at Mount Vernon. Mount Vernon has helped me grow in the Lord. Although Mount Vernon certainly has its problems, the good out ways the bad in my eyes.
